FUMUS
FUMUS is a public cigarette butt collector that uses mushrooms to break down toxic filters. Grown from mycelium, it starts the decomposition process right inside. The transparent chamber shows the buildup of waste—turning pollution into a visible reminder. More than a bin, FUMUS also works as a small table, inviting people to pause, rest a drink, and share a moment. It’s a design about sustainability, community, and public awareness.
